Follow these steps to restore an HP computer from Windows:
- Save any work, and then close all applications.
- Select Start, and then type Create a restore point and select it from the results.
- On the System Protection tab, select System Restore.
- In System Restore, select Next.
- Select the restore point you want to use.
- If you are having problems with Windows, choose a restore point from a date where you know Windows was working properly, and then select Next.
- To view all available, restore points, select the check box next to Show more restore points, and then make a selection from the list.
- To view the programs and drivers affected, select Scan for affected programs.
- Take note of any programs that you might want to reinstall or uninstall after the recovery completes, and then select Close.
- Select Next, confirm the restore point, and then select Finish.
- Since System Restore cannot be interrupted, do not proceed without having enough time to perform the restoration.
- If you are restoring an HP notebook, plug in the power cord directly in the computer.
- Select Yes in the prompt to initiate the restoration process.
- Follow any prompts to finalize the restore and return to Windows.
- To view the programs and drivers affected, select Scan for affected programs.
- Take note of any programs that you might want to reinstall or uninstall after the recovery completes, and then select Close.
- Select Next, confirm the restore point, and then select Finish.

Steps for creating a new local user account in Windows 10:
- Sign in to an administrator account.
- Click Start, then click Settings.
- Click Accounts, then Family & other people.
- Click Add someone else to this PC.
- Click I don't have this person's sign-in information, then This person does not have a Microsoft accounts.
- Enter the new account name.
- Enter and confirm and password.
- Add desired security questions.
- Click Next.
- Select the new user, then change account type.
- Sign out of the administrator account.
- Sign in to the new account.

Follow these steps to setup printing with Amazon Alexa from a computer:
- Obtain the email address for your printer to link it to Alexa.
- On your printer control panel, press the ePrint button if equipped, or navigate through the Setup or Network menu to find Web Services.
- You might have to print the Web Services Info Page to view the printer email address.
- For printers that only have buttons, press the Info and Cancel buttons or the Info and Web Services buttons at the same time to print the Web Services Info Page.
- Enable the HP Printer Skill for Alexa from Amazon.com.
- On your computer, go to Amazon.com and sign in to your Amazon account, if not already signed in.
- In the search bar, click the drop-down menu, select Alexa Skills, and then search for HP Printer.
- Select the skill from the results, and then select Enable.
- If prompted, enable any permissions or type the email address for your printer, and then select Finish and start printing.
- With the skill enabled, you can now ask your Echo or other Alexa device to print on your HP printer.
- To print, say, “Alexa, ask my printer to”, and then follow with the content you want to print.
- For a list of what Alexa can print, say, “Alexa, ask my printer to print a help page.

Follow these steps to manage activities with timeline in Windows 10:
- Select Start and type Activity, and then select Activity history privacy settings from the results.
- Select Let Windows collect my activities from this PC to enable the Timeline feature.
- Select Let Windows sync my activities from this PC to the cloud to sync activities between computers signed in to the same Microsoft Account.
- Select the Task View icon or press the Windows and Tab keys at the same time to access Timeline.
- For computers connected to multiple monitors, Timeline displays the open windows for each monitor.
- Resume current or previous activities from the Timeline window under the Now, Earlier Today, Yesterday, and Date headings.
- Scroll through the list to find previous activities.
- To see activities from a specific day, select See all activities.
- To quickly find activities without manually searching, use Timeline Search.
- Click the Timeline Search icon, enter a keyword or phrase, and then press Enter.

Follow these steps to find drivers and software for HP Products in Windows 10 S:
- Use a USB cable to connect your HP product to the Windows 10 S computer.
- If network discovery is enabled in the Advanced sharing settings of Windows 10 S, you can also connect your HP product to the same wired or wireless network as the Windows 10 S computer.
- Windows 10 S sets up and installs the device automatically.
- Check for updated drivers and software by manually running Windows Update.
- In Windows, select Start, and then select the Settings icon.
- Select Update and Security, and then select Check for updates.
